【 Greenery Day 】April 29. It often becomes a first day of Golden Week. The death in 1989(1989) was changed Emperor Hirohito from love of Midori as Greenery Day, and was left as a national holiday though was the Emperor's Birthday of Emperor Hirohito the origin. The movement of changing this day into "Day of Showa" has been formed since 1992. Influence , unemployed plan of "God's country" remark of Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori in 2000 though the Day of Showa bill passes the House of Representatives. The unemployed plan according to dissolution of the House of Representatives though submitted even in 2003. At last, the revision of the national holidays law is approved on May 13, 2005.
