隅田川

【 Sumidagawa 】Class A river in which it belongs to Arakawa water system. It diverges from Arakawa in the Iwabuchi sluice of the Tokyo Kita Ward, it flows in Arakawa Ward, Tokyo, Sumida Ward, Adachi Ward, Taito Ward, Koto Ward, and Chuo Ward, and it pours into Tokyo Bay. The showplace in 1000 livings, Asakusa, two countries,, and reclaimed lands, etc. lines up in the coast. It crowds with "Sumidagawa fireworks" in summer. Is it Asakusa for sightseeing?The water bus between Hinode Sanbashi Pier recommends it. Originally, the river that was being called "Sumidagawa" now was main stream in Arakawa, and the river (From the Iwabuchi sluice to the mouth of a river) that was being called "Arakawa" now was "Arakawa tailrace" that had been made to hold back a flood at the Meiji era. By government decree ..putting out.. on March 24, 1965.
